The tale of Mancini Junior is a love story that was born from a family, the Mancini family, in 1956 and lasts until today. There are the founder Osvaldo and Rosa who open their first store in Bellizzi, the now historic Via Cuomo, an emporium of underwear, household linen and clothing.
It was in 1992 when Sonia, the youngest daughter, decided to open with her husband Gianni their first store of clothing for children. It was the two of that started alone this new adventure, in a small store of just 50 square meters.
The goal was clear: to propose an alternative children's fashion in that time to the local market. They immediately targeted premium brands, and wanted to be able to offer only the best, as no one did before by carefully choosing manufacturers and garments.
The intuition was right: in a short time that small space was no longer enough, and the boutique moved to a bigger venue just a few streets away, in a space of 150 square meters.
The Mancini Junior boutique was born,the brand continue grewing from season to season, enhancing space and staff availability.
After the opening of a second location in Salerno in Via Velia, the boutique has been evolving and adapting to market changes, whilst maintaining its values and tradition however, always with an eye on the future. Today Mancini Junior is amongst the first children's boutiques in Italy to land in the world of online retail and e-commerce.
In 2014, with the digital revolution just around the corner, the love for this work, passed through generations: Sonia and Gianni were succeeded by their children Jessica, Celeste and Gianluca.
Mancini has remained recognizable since the fifties, despite the evolution and the constant adaptation regarding the latest trends. An unmistakable style stands out thanks to the careful choice of collections,and brands and also for the unique ludic store design.
